"SEA GODDESS" Artefacts Collection Earrings - Sterling Hammered Discs, Sterling Hoops & Abalone 3" Long - copy
Our new "Artefacts Collection" draws from my study of archaeology in college and beyond as well as my love of the Art Deco Exoticism Movement which fuses tribal elements with Art Deco Design. These earrings are "Sea Goddess", a series I created using hand made abalone focal pieces, vintage sterling hammered discs and artisan made Sterling Hoops. This dimensional piece has vintage sterling silver findings, abalone shell and replica vintage Chinese coins.
The earring is crowned with a hand hammered and textured brass disc and the earring as all Artefacts Collection earrings have a gold hoop wire holding the artefacts yet giving them free movement on the wire for a dancing earring.
We use brass because as a compound of copper and zinc has healing qualities to boost our immune system and to give us courage.
These are 3" long from the top of the Sterling Silver hoop.
