My fascination with archaeology continued long after I left college and I decided to gather some of my inventory that was in colors I did not care for and I hand shibori dyed them together using Dark Teal and Rust to try and recreate the wonderful and nuanced colors our ancients used in their evocative cave paintings.
This is a vintage and very rare hand shibori dyed silk URU piece which was dyed by URU. It is their Petal Duster which is made up of panels that are attached just under the arm and open and flowing in the front from that design. This goes with both outfits in the collection as well.
