This is something my mother inherited from her mother, and while I love it, I have never done anything with it. I don't wear capes and did not have the heart to remove the clip on the back to convert it. It is a heavy cast silver with amazing details. My mother's father was a barge captain at the turn of the Century and his route was to the "Orient" as they called it. While African in look, he brought it back from Japan. It is 2 1/2" long and weighs 28 grams.
