CONJURING TOTE BAG WITH VINTAGE HAND EMBROIDERED HUIPIL TEXTILE, HMONG HILL TRIBE EMBROIDERY AND ANTIQUE KUCHI PENDANT WITH LEATHER HANDLES
We are doing a Limited Collection of one of a kind Tote Bags for the holidays. The size is 14" tall and 22" wide with a heavy duty double zipper opening. It is fully lined in fabulous Frida Kahlo "Day of the Dead" fabric so it's artful inside and outside. The base bag is made from a very vintage and gorgeous Guatamalan Huipil Textile that is embelilshed with hand embroidery - and lots of it. It is handwoven cotton and the backside of the bag is a fusion of the handwoven stripes and the embroidered textile. The contrast trim at the top are patches made from vintage hand embroidered Hmong Hill Tribe wedding textiles. The front center patch has an antique Kuchi Wedding Pendant in the center for added dimensionality. The bag is lined with Frida Kahlo "Day of the Dead" cotton fabric and it has pockets for your iPad, cell phone and a claps on a loop at the top for your keys. The handles are artisan made at an all woman artisan coop and are made from supple black leather. They are 32" long with a 16" drop. The bag is sturdy, gorgeous and very very very useful!
