This is our new - and can I say AMAZING TIME TRAVEL JACKET made from crushed black silk that I then hand pleated.This jacket has traveled through time picking up elements from the Edwardian Riding Jacket, Art Deco garments and has some wonderful Japanese Design Details. I love the play on words that "gathering" has which of course also describes how a ruffle is made as well as gathering our thoughts and memories from life stories long lost and now held only in the gathering of fabric. The jacket is shown over a Ruffled Skirt and Beach Dress with a Ruffled hem detail.
