They're back - and better than ever! These amazing, handmade art to wear bags are constructed from vintage textiles from my collection and have artisan hand made leather straps. The bag is 23" wide at the top and it is 14" high. The leather straps are 32" long with a 19" drop which I find to be perfect in all ways. Not too long and enough room to hang comfortably from your shoulder. Lots of pockets on the inside and outside and a loop with a hook for your keys. The construction on these is amazing and each bag has its own totemic powers! This one is the SHAMAN BIRD and is made with a vintage San Blas Bird Mola as its focal point. The bird is adorned with a Turkoman kuchi belt dangle that no doubt it plucked up from the ground during its travels as well as the Kuchi ornament with paste glass. The bag is made from handwoven cotton and trimmed with vintage Japanese Kimono Fabric, Embroidered Hmong Hill Tribe fabric and Uzbek Trim and is fully lined. These are amazing and $200 less than the original line we created 4 years ago. We can also co-create a custom design with you too at no additional cost.
