This is a stunning coat made from pebbled rayon crepe which drapes like silk. The coat has a vintage reproduction of a Japanese Woodcut depicting a woman and a falconas the art focal piece. The falcon is a powerful symbol in many cultures and in Japan it is seen as an auspicious symbol for travel and prosperity. The falcon is also seen as a protector. This is an especially powerful image because a woman falconer in Medieval Japan was a rarity. A one of a kind coat that is gorgeous on and drapes beautifully. Made from our Tabard Kimono design it is 45" long and 80" wide. Pockets in front with side slits.
