CORAL QUEEN AMULET NECKLACE
Bouquet of Natural Red Coral Nuggets and Vintage Conch Shell Beads with Tibetan Brass Inlay of Conch and Coral, Coral Roundels, Clear Quartz Beads with Gold Leaf and African Vulcanite Beads.
The focal of this pendant are the large Tibetan brass beads with red coral and conch shell inlay and striking brass design components. Hanging from these beads is a cluster comprised of small vintage conch shell, natural red coral nuggets and black glass with white dots.
The Tibetan brass inlay beads are approx. 30mm, and the cluster of conch and coral that hang below is approx. 50mm long and 60mm wide, when flat.
On the flank of the Tibetan brass beads are genuine natural coral (dyed red). Clear quartz beads lightly brushed with gold luster add to the depth and richness.
Black and white bone disk beads separate the pendant from the African red vulcanite beads. The vulcanite beads are capped with black glass beads with white circles.
Vulcanite is a material that was used to make vinyl records. Therefore, they are known as vinyl record beads, since they are made from the same material. Natively, they are called "jigada beads".
The clasp is large and is silver plated.
Length of Necklace is 23 inches (includes clasp).
Note: For those who aren't familiar with the metric system, 25mm is about 1 inch.
